DEC. 2017 CRUSADE

—The Ebelle for Christ Organization came into being through the efforts of some Christians who felt the need to bridge the gap for Ebelle spiritually following an observed setback that was befalling Ebelle in political, economic and social arena.

—Its strategy was to declare some days of fasting and prayers after which out outreach/crusade was carried out. At the outset, the outreach involved processions and carnivals where better committed Christians of Ebelle origin and friends from neighbouring communities marked along the roads with singing, announcements and dancing.

—The meetings were usually held rotationally amongst the quarters since they all had places such as schools where crusades could take place freely. lately, the schools are no longer free for such an event hence the resort to the King’s Square.

—Delighted by the move and the objective, the organization has the support of the King who sometimes participates in the prayer sessions.

—Through networking, all the pastors in Ebelle are involed in the task and goal pursuit of rescuing Ebelle from the claws of underdevelopment.

—Much has also gone into its operations from the Ebelle Christians in Lagos.  Some of the key actors from Lagos end are Engr. Egho who is a Provincial pastor of the Redeemed Evangelical Church of God, Pst Iria, Pst Oboh, Bar Oboh , Dr. Benard Osazuwa etc
